The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation amended Illinois Law, requiring all licensed professionals with continuing education requirements to take a one-hour sexual harassment prevention course. The amendment also revises the procedure by which prospective license applicants ask the Department whether a past criminal conviction will bar them from entering a licensed profession. Also, it codified that long standing practice of not renewing professional licenses until all fines have been paid.
